　 We hope the environment around dogs will create a culture where human and dogs can live in a good harmony for both dog owners and others who don’t have one. By communicating with dogs, we hope to create culture which Japanese society finds the importance of taking care of different animals. We do various activities such as education, recreation, laws, and providing animal welfare ideas to the public.
Regarding education, we teach children how important and great to be with dogs and other animals and how enjoyable to live together with them. We also visit some places regularly to give ‘learning lives’ lectures for children and their parents. We hope these lectures will give future generations ideas of individual lives and will reduce various problems such as bullying at school, criminal behaviors,and wrong public behaviors. We provide ‘ team test’ for dogs and owners to learn how to behave in the public which helps society will accept dogs easier.
Regarding animal welfare activity, we have shelter work in Fukuoka-ken. We rescue abandoned dogs from Fukuoka-city dog administration centre, and train the to go back to society little by little. Then we’ll find them new homes and families. Those abandoned dogs come from different backgrounds. It takes long time to give them enough training as well as mental cares. After that, we have interviews with a possible new owners before we send our dogs back to the society again.
I addition, Inu-Tao-Net holds events called ‘dog Olympics’, sports day for dogs which everybody can join and learn the importance of social dog education and manner trainings. In the future, we will work for welfare of working dogs, prepare for legislation to improve these works, prevent cruel acts against dogs.
